Background

A Flyertalker called Andrius had organised a weekend Do to his former home town way back in February 2006 and I had been early to sign up - the chance to make my first visit to a Baltic state, indeed my first visit to anywhere in the former Soviet Union, in the comfort of BA Club Europe with the company of fellow FT'ers was far too hard to pass up!

As BA only have one flight per day, this meant there was only 24 hours available on the ground in Vilnius. Shortly after arriving we headed to the KGB museum (the former KGB offices/prison) then had a walk around the city centre, with the odd pit stop or two of course!
